Remember that game crash I mentioned...

Post by Loup Garou on Fri Jan 08, 2010 8:56 pm

Game crashed and the continue button is not getting me past the crash.

Details:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

My relative ignorance of programming makes it impossible for me to interpret this stuff, so I thought I would send it to you. I had some minor problems with 2.1.3, but those all accepted the "continue" button and went on. This is not getting past it.

Crash is happening as I run through the house results on a given day. It is not one given house. I have had it hit as I went to the first, second or third house (I can't say if it goes past that... I can't get past the crash and have to start over. I know.. I should save and see if it is going to crash no matter what, but... ).

I will try saving at the end of each day so I can get past a crash day.

I reached an impassible glitch with something new at the bottom.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

. < configuration>
. < system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
. < /configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

__________________________

I, of course, have NO idea where the config file is to modify. 8-) (Note, I made one or two MINOR modifications on the config "example." Without that, it is invisible.)

When posting, be sure to include all bugs, not just the major ones. Sometimes you'll pass a minor one and the game will corrupt, so to speak. That bug may be unattainable without first running through a minor bug, so fixing the minor bug should fix that one too.
