Licencing of programs

Can we use this licence for protect our code??

I am not lawyer and my english is not good enough...

The answer is yes and no. Yes it will give you under the articles of the arrangement certain provisions in accordance with the legal terms provided, i.e. the code will forever be attributed to you, the original writer of the code. However you will also be under obligation to provide the source code in it's full form and notice of the GNU, at which point it may be modified to an extent provided certain provisions are met. Fair Use Law comes into play and several other issues, however you will be under obligation to prove any terms of the GNU were broken by a third party. Also works containing other copyright material would still be subject to the original copyright holder. Hope this help, if not I'll try to explain further.
