Cooking/bartending skills

Let's say a house has a bar or a kitchen. And you assign girls to bartend/serve food. Do customers actually come to eat/drink? What kind of effect do these have if customers only come to see the girls?

The intent of cooking and bartending is to milk the last couple pennies out of customers that come for the girls.

is it actually worth while to do this as I've only had like 1 customer in a week. But then again I'm still at the beginning of the game.

At the start of the game focus on just setting your girls to prostitute or special project (photo spread), only attempt cooking, stripping and gambling later on when you have 7-8 girls in one building prostituting. An important note is advertising in the main menu (not the girl advertising) the buidling advertising is very helpful and the girl advertising raises this but should only be used later on when lots of girls are working in the building, if you have one girl make sure that building has the first 2 advertisings (bulletin board flyers and bums with signs) this will raise the amount of customers from 2 to 5 or 6. Cleaning seems to be useless, self defence is handy to stop girls being hurt and gain a little money, bartering can be useful to gain a slight money boost at the end of the day as girls sell sex toys during prostituting but you don't gain alot of money from this.
