Music/Sound Production 3-13-13

Post by riddlebox1321 on Wed Oct 03, 2012 8:19 am

Hey,
I occasionally fool around with FL Studio as a hobby, V10 is my current edition. I create and edit beats and music and I'm interested in volunteering my time to the project. I feel that the game has real potential, especially with good sound quality. I would like to learn about designing video games, If someone will teach me how to script music and sounds into the game then I'll be more than glad to help.
Edit:
Here are some sounds I've created for someone to script into the game:

Oh, btw if anyone wants to help out or wants to know how to use music software let me know and I'll help the best I can...

Source for free samples, loops, plugins, sound kits and tutorials:
http://beatproduction.net/

Free, open source software (copy and Paste link in search bar):
1.)LMMS is a free open source MIDI sequencer/composer for Windows and Linux. http://lmms.sourceforge.net/download.php

2)Temper, the current offering from AngryRedPlanet, is a fully functional MIDI composer / sequencer / recorder.A very polished product, Temper has undergone a long process of evolution. It is the newest incarnation of Sequitur, and has a very clever and user friendly GUI.

This is my source, you can review or find other free software here.

Thank you for pointing that out, I just re-exported all the broken songs and re uploaded them onto mediafire, the new links are up. I downloaded and tested and now they seem to work fine.

I don't know how to attach anything to the game, sorry. But if you can find someone that can, I'm a musician, and I would happily record a couple synthesizer "porn-groove" tracks for background music. I have a Korg M50 synth workstation and Korg Kaossilator pro, along with a few more electronic toys. And porn-groove is actually one of the easier things to do. If someone can figure out how to get it to work, I'll volunteer to do a couple tracks...
Always wanted an excuse to record a "Bow-chicka Waa Waa" song... hehehe

Well, lets see what you got Smile

Even if it doesn't get into SimBro 1x, if it fits the mood, I'll add it to my upcoming version.
