Wow, sounds great!

Russian team I was mentioning earlier is building something along those lines but it is to difficult for me at this point so I am sticking to a smaller scale project for now to figure some stuff out first.

If you have some pics or an alpha or even a short/long version of concept, feel free to post on this forum, I would love to read on it.

As for this project, like I've said, all we have now is a girl class that can load info from .xml and load pictures (location) into girl's class. Also a lot of stuff from other project, all comments are in Russian I am afraid Sad

Here is a link, it basically loads the data and raises an error to show you what is inside class's namespace.

There isn't images for now and i havent worried much about an elaborated gui. But using flash it can be easily modified by a designer or something.

Later i will post a version using the images on your version (if you dont mind) and the concept.

No problem, you can use anything you like.

Are the mechanics and logic already done for all these places? Also you can expect to do graphics yourself as well since finding an artist/designer is not easy...

Updates ...

Changes:
Added image loading
Added profile pictures for girls at the market
Added basic support for the market now you can buy slaves!
Added basic support for advancing the game to the next day ... it even adds a new girl to buy at the market <.<

I tried a very complicated system first but then decided to give it up as not needed for what we're planning here (at least for now). Right now I am half done with brothel class and will start working on interface today or tomorrow.

Ok, so after I've started working on creating interface screens, I've ran into 100 problems and questions on how to handle different stuff like displaying pictures, girl + brothel data and so on.

I have tried a couple of things but they've all failed to produce a decent result so right now figuring out interface screens is my main priority, it will take an unknown amount of time since I've never done it before. I'll post pictures after I manage to produce some results Smile

Not unless you can throw an idea at me on how to pick an 'In Focus' girl and 'In Focus' Brothel for displaying pictures and info on interface screens Smile

That is where I am currently stuck at. I'll figure something out eventually I hope, it's kinda like solving a puzzle.

Actually you can help.

Design or borrow from the original (or both) around 10 - 15 (or any amount) traits and write them down for me. Should be in following format:

1) Name of a trait
2) Description of a trait
3) Stats level cap penalty or increase
4) Active Effect during jobs
5) Special effects
6) Conditions to acquire.

This will help a lot.

I meant the SimBrothel v2 flash version, but I don't really care as long as traits are fun and engaging. You can think of them yourself or borrow ideas from any version of any game.

Well, I am figuring out screen design... I've reread documentation for framework and now trying different backgrounds, buttons, frames, bars and texts for the game.

The thing is that I am not good at that at all and still have not chosen a style.

Also I though of a couple of ways to handle logic like fame (girl + brothel), generating costumers, advertising and so on. I will put those thoughts into code after I am done with some screens.

By the way, what do you think design should be like? Pergament as in original? Wood? Specific color? Modern? Basically I can fish online for all sorts of buttons/frames/backgrounds.
